pyngl version 1.3.0b1 was released almost a year ago.
This seems a long time to remain in beta.
It does bring into question the long term prospects of pyngl, if the
support is waning.
The mailing list is also very quiet.
I know that the developers are busy with other projects, and I
appreciate the effort so far.
PyNIO is a vital tool in dealing with the many data formats I
encounter. If pyngl is going away I have to start
building alternatives.

So, what' s up?
