Installation problem with Ubuntu 8.10

Hi,

I am trying to install PyNGL and PyNIO is 1.3.0b1 under Ubuntu 8.10
and when import Ngl, error message appears:

ImportError Traceback (most recent call last)

/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/PyNGL/Ngl.py in <module>()

ImportError: libgfortran.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory

Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
