Re: pyngl/pynio for AIX

I already responded to Jeff offline about this, and I'll respond again
here.

I had problems in the past with building either numpy or Numeric under
AIX, and gave up. This was on a 64-bit system. I haven't tried it
again with the latest releases of numpy or Numeric, but I'll give this
a try again when I get the chance. Also, I haven't tried a 32-bit
version. We rarely use 32-bit on our AIX systems, so I try to stay
with 64-bit and only do 32-bit on special request.
