Mary,

I was able to merger pre-compiled PyNGL to Python/site-packages/ already installed (thanks to Dr. Louis Wicker at NOAA), and it sounds woking fine when running wmstnm01.py from PyNGL website Gallery.

HI folks,

Sorry, I've been out-of-town and then in meetings.

I will try to fix the pynglex issue for the next release.

I don't know about the error "unable to import the NumPy version of Ngl".
Do you get this when you simply run python and type:

import Ngl

?

If so, which PyNGL binary did you download, and what version of numpy do you have?

I mentioned this to Mary Haley a long while back, but I'm not sure there has been a release since then so this may not have been fixed. I think you should be able to edit the first line of pynglex to be something like #!/usr/bin/env python, which should solve your problem.

After untar the file, and my very first test 'bin/pynglex ngl01p' failed, which responded with 'Commend not found'.
