'import Nio' doesn't work

hi together,

After a lot of trouble i managed to compile and install PyNIO and PyNGL
successfully (on Suse Linux 11.1 x64), at least according to the output
of setup.py.

However, Python can't find a module named Nio (or Ngl). import PyNio and
PyNGL does work, but not properly, e.g.:

>>> dir(PyNGL)
['__builtins__', '__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', '__package__',
'__path__']

The files/dirs
PyNGL
PyNGL-1.3.1-py2.6.egg-info
PyNIO
PyNIO-1.4.0-py2.6.egg-info

are in /usr/local/lib64/python2.6/site-packages, which is in sys.path...

Any idea what went wrong?

Thanks, Max
