Hi
I have recently upgraded my python distribution from EPD 5.0 to EPD
5.1.0 on Mac OS X 10.6. While the PyNIO 1.3.0b1 binaries for Intel Mac
10.5 / python 2.5 worked fine with EPD 5.0 (even on 10.6), I now get
the following error:
>>> import Nio
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/5.1.0/lib/
python2.5/site-packages/PyNIO/Nio.py", line 59, in <module>

ImportError: dlopen(/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/
5.1.0/lib/python2.5/site-packages/PyNIO/nio.so, 2): Library not

Referenced from: /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/

The reason for the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 were some other python
packages that didn't work with 10.6. So, downgrading to EPD 5.0 is not
an option, unfortunately. Is there a way to fix this, without
compiling Nio from source?
Thanks in advance, Andy
