labelbar size

  Hello,

  I'm trying to make a panel plot with 2 contour maps side by
  side. Each contour map has it's own labelbar and I want them to
  be horizontal, on the bottom of each map. My problem is that
  the edges of the labelbars overlap. How do I reduce the size
  of the labelbars along their major axis (horizontal) so they
  don't overlap?
