Hi Ivan,

No there is not currently a way to explicitly specify a minimum
number of contour levels.
As you are probably already aware, you can set a maximum number of
levels using
cnMaxLevelCount. The automatic level picking algorithm tries to pick
a "nice" level spacing
that gives a number of levels that is close to but does not exceed
cnMaxLevelCount.
I realize that with a series of plots, different data max/min values
can result in different level spacings
that make the number of levels vary substantially between plots.

You can, while still using automatic mode, set the level spacing to a
specific value using
cnLevelSpacingF. To create a series of similar looking plots
automatically you could try retrieving
the level spacing after the first plot, then set it to that value for
the subsequent plots.

We could possibly consider having a lower limit on the number of
levels in a future release.
