Oh boy, fun with different versions of software! I will try the "fink
selfupdate" thing if I ever get access to that machine again. Thanks
for the info.

Also, I'm glad to hear PyNGL works with the fink Python. Is this
version 2.3 or 2.4 of Python? I wanted to try PyNGL/PyNIO with Python
2.4 under Panther, so I had to install my own version of Python. I
have three versions of Python now, the Apple one, the fink one, and my
personal one. <sigh>
